The University of Kurdistan-Hawler invites applications for a lecturer/senior lecturer position in the department of politics and international relations, with a specialization in international security studies.1. Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations (Ref: SL1/POL/08). Required to teach two courses in the following areas: Foundations of Security Studies, Studies in Grand Strategy, Military Doctrine, Organizations and Intervention, and International Diplomatic and Strategic History. Courses can be taught with a regional focus, preferably the Middle East, Europe, and/or North America.
Candidates should have a PhD in Political Science or Politics and International Relations and a record of research and publications. All applications should have experience of teaching in higher education and must also be fluent in the English language (written and spoken).
